The touch controls on the Apple HomePod mini are pretty intuitive. The Sonos One has an advanced microphone system that effectively picks up your speaking voice even if there’s some background din. While the Sonos One doesn’t have an official IP rating, it is humidity resistant so you can bring it into the bathroom during a shower without issue. The Google Nest Audio has a minimal design wrapped in a nice fabric.
It is a very low profile speaker that will fit almost any environment due to its size and sleek design. Google Home Mini is small but powerful. It’s a voice assistant, like Google Home, but it’s smaller and without a stand. You can just plug it into the wall wherever you want to use it. What is your favorite music genre or artist? Next time, after you turn on the Bluetooth speaker, Google Home ail NOT automatically switch back to the Bluetooth speaker. Now, Google Home will start to search for nearby Bluetooth speakers as shown above.
Then on the bottom-right corner you will find the “Enable Pairing Mode” option. A message will pop-up saying ‘Pairing Mode Active’, confirming that your Google Home Mini is in pairing mode now. Click on the Add (+) button in the bottom right-hand corner and your Android device will start searching for Chromecast enabled devices on your network.
Below these invisible panels are four centered LEDs that alight to indicate Google Assistant activation, Bluetooth pairing mode, when you’re in a call, and more. If you choose to mute the microphone, the four LEDs will remain amber until overridden by another function. After Google Home mini responds to your command , you can open the Google Home app on the phone and check the device settings to see what the default music speaker is. If it lists itself, it means the Bluetooth connection to the speaker is lost. Just say “Hey Google, Enable Bluetooth Pairing”, with your voice.
